When McFarlane Toys revived their Movie Maniacs range earlier this year, there were very few maniacs. The line-up included Harry Potter, Bugs Bunny, and Ted Lasso, as well as the Wicked Witch of the West – one of the most iconic movie villains. They could have chosen Snape, Wile e. Coyote, and Nate. The next wave of Movie Maniacs by McFarlane Toys includes Sloth (from the

The Goonies

) as well as Alan (from the

The hangover). So we’ve got a wise wizard, a deformed man with a heart of gold and the guy from The Goonies…None of these characters meets the qualifications of “maniac”, but it does make us want a Mama Fratelli figure. Each McFarlane movie maniac stands 6″ tall and comes with a “scenic-printed back drop and an environmental base display. Includes an art card with a numbered certificate and card holder”. In addition, there is a “hidden secret”. Gandalf, Sloth, and Alan are limited to 14,500 each. The figures are expected to arrive in July.Considering this lineup of Movie Maniacs is part of the partnership between McFarlane and Warner Bros., hopefully it’s only a matter of time before they go back to their horror roots, as the studio has a number to choose from. How about Pennywise from It or Esther from Orphan or Annabelle, all of which Warner Bros. distributed? Of course, the Movie Maniacs haven’t always been solely about horror, as they previously released Eric Draven from

The Crow

, Edward Scissorhands and various Terminator figures. What do you think about McFarlane’s next wave of Movie Maniacs figures? Should they rebrand, or should we be happy that this brand is back? Give us your take in the comments section below!https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6oDcns7D1qA
