Star Trek: Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount and Ethan Peck want a crossover episode with the cast of The Next Generation.

The upcoming second season of Star Trek: Strange New Worlds will include a crossover episode with Star Trek: Lower Decks, but if the cast have their way… it won’t be the last crossover for the series. While speaking with SFX Magazine, Strange New Worlds stars Anson Mount (Pike) and Ethan Peck (Spock) are holding out hope for a crossover with the cast of Star Trek: The Next Generation.

I’d have to say The Next Generation,” Ethan Peck said, “Just because I’ve gotten now to work with Jonathan Frakes and I’ve gotten to know some of the cast. They’re fun and wonderful, and I’ve grown to love the show. Data is also my favourite character. It would be a wonderful scene to have between Spock and Data. Played by Brent Spiner, of course.

Anson Mount agreed, and revealed that he’s actually known Patrick Stewart since he was 22 years old. Mount said, “I first met him in graduate school, and we shared a mutual friend who was his old friend from his RSC days and my godmother during my higher education. We were both very young men. Mount said that the friend who was in the franchise has since died, but she would have liked to see them together. And if we could actually be on the same show or movie or something, that would really be the icing on the cake.Related
