Cillian Murphy says there are no deleted scenes for Oppenheimer because Christopher Nolan plans everything to the letter.

At 180 minutes, it’s not improbable to think there are no deleted scenes for Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer. Sometimes, fans look forward to home release materials getting packed with extras, but Cillian Murphy is here to burst the bubble, saying what you see is what you get when it comes to Nolan’s latest opus.

Speaking with Collider, Murphy said there’s a meticulous method to Nolan’s madness, leaving no opportunity for scenes to fall onto the cutting room floor. Murphy said that there are no deleted scenes from Chris Nolan’s movies. “That’s why his DVDs don’t have extras because the script is what makes the movie,” Murphy said. He doesn’t change the story, he knows what will happen. That is the movie.”Murphy’s well-versed in Nolan’s ways after teaming up with the acclaimed director on multiple feature-length projects.
