We take a look at a true Hollywood Original in WTF happened to Crispin Glover. An odd but awesome actor.

Crispin Glover is one strange dude, but that's what we love about him. Glover could have had a perfectly serviceable character acting career after bursting onto the scene in

Friday The 13th: the Final Chapter and playing Marty McFly’s nerdy dad, George, in the Back To The Future. But he didn’t. Glover had two memorable supporting roles in 1986: one opposite Sean Penn in the cult film At close range, and the other opposite Keanu reeves in River’s Edge. Glover crossed Steven Spielberg in 1989 when he refused the return to the Back To The Future sequels. He even sued them when they reused footage from the first film. Glover’s actions, combined with the lawsuit and his refusal to return for the Back to the Future

sequels, caused him to be branded as a nut. It didn’t hurt his career at all, but it made him a cult hero. He stole scenes in Wild At Heart and The Door as well as Dead man among others. In 2000, his most prominent role was in Charlie’s Angels, and its sequel. He even got to be a leading man in the horror remake of Willard.Since then, Glover’s somewhat retreated from the spotlight, directing his bizarre cult movies, making music, and typically only showing up in lower-key projects. This episode of WTF happened to this Celebrity is written by Taylor James Johnson (with Mathew Plal), edited, narrated, and produced by Taylor James Johnson. We delve into the life of an original Hollywood star.
