The Seeding, a horror thriller starring Scott Haze and Kate Lyn Sheil, will have its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival
Scott Haze of Venom and Jurassic World: Dominion and Kate Lyn Sheil of The Sacrament and She Dies Tomorrow star in the upcoming horror thriller The Seeding, which will be having its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival next month.
The feature directorial debut of writer/director Barnaby Clay, The Seeding has the following synopsis: When a hiker gets lost in the desert, a gang of feral children propelled by haunting legacies traps him in a sadistic battle for survival with a frightening endgame.
The Tribeca write-up offers some more information: We can probably agree that growing up is hell, but growing up alone in the desert is another kind of hell altogether. Scott Haze, a hiker who was photographing the solar eclipse, encounters a lost kid. What begins as a good Samaritan act turns into a deadly game of cat-and-mouse between him, a group menacing teenagers, and a mysterious female with a connection to them (Kate Lyn Sheil). The audience will be on edge from the first scene of Barnaby’s feature directorial début. The seeding, a slow-burning thriller by a prolific music-video director, is a stone cold nightmare that confronts fears of isolation and unchecked toxicity in masculinity. The Seeding
is produced by Brian R. Etting. It will be screening at the Tribeca Film Festival at the following times: Sunday, June 11th from 9:30 PM to 11:04 PM at Village East by Angelika World Premiere
Tuesday, June 13th from 9:00 PM to 10:34 PM at Village East by AngelikaSaturday, June 17th from 9:30 PM to 11:04 PM at Village East by Angelika
