The Kickstarter campaign started with a goal of bringing in $300,000 and concluded with $336,450 in donations, but after three years, some backers started to wonder if they had been scammed.Related

The WGA strike came to light just as things were returning to normal. We began preproduction and reward fulfillment. We will continue to be on pause until an agreement can be reached. As you know, SAG has now gone on strike. The total amount of money to be refunded is $110,629.10. As for the discrepancy between the refund and the donations, Baker explained that a “large portion of backers’ pledges were lowered, or completely dropped and never collected once the campaign was completed.
