With the Indiana Jones franchise coming to a close, what similar movies can you check out that offer the same kind of thrills?

Last weekend, we saw the end of the Indiana Jones franchise as Harrison Ford has stated that The Dial Of Destiny is the last time he’ll don the fedora and whip. It will be the end of the franchise unless Disney decides they want to squeeze as much out of it as possible. This is not out of the question. We’ll see Indy one last time when the film hits the screens. Film fans always need something else to fill in their viewing void, so what are the best movies like Indiana Jones?

Channing Tatum, the cover model of all her books, goes after her in order to prove that he is more than a pretty face. The Cannon film was created to ride on the coattails the Indiana Jones film. But, of course, the Cannon way cost less to produce. Richard Chamberlain plays fortune hunter Allan Quatermain, who is hired by Sharon Stone to find her father. He went to search for the legendary diamond mines that King Solomon had. She fears he’s been captured and she needs to rescue him. The two head to South Africa, where they quickly come up against Dogati’s rival Quatermain, played by actor John Rhys-Davies.
