The sequel to Gunfight at Rio Bravo, Taken from Rio Bravo, will be featured at the Cannes market later this month.

The action-packed trailer starts off with an attempted robbery that results in juuuust about everybody getting a bullet to the chest courtesy of one nasty gunslinger. He joins forces to find his bride, who has been taken by a group that smuggles women across the border into Mexico. The trailer for Taken From Rio Bravo shows a tight-knit film with lots of gunplay. Gunfight At Rio Bravo a highly entertaining western actioner that was released in theaters and on home The film is directed by Joe Cornet (Incident in Guilt Ridge; A Pray for the Damned), and the screenplay is written by Craig Hamann (Showdown In Manila; Moscow heat). Alexander Nevsky stars in the film, and he was also named a Mr. Universe three times. Director Cornet is the actor, and the supporting cast includes Cynthia Rothrock and Irina Anthonynenko. Matthias Hues, Tatiana Neva and John Fallon are also in the film. According to the official release, Nevsky co-produced the film with executive producers Eric Brenner of ETA Films and Joe Cornet of San Rafael Productions, along with Douglas “Fini Finical” Finical.
