Netflix has confirmed that Sweet Tooth season 3 has already wrapped production and will be the end of the series

Season 2 of the series Sweet Tooth, which is an adaptation of the DC Vertigo comic book that ran from 2009 to 2013 for a total of 40 issues, was just released through the Netflix streaming service at the end of April (you can read our review HERE). The Hollywood Reporter broke the news that Netflix had ordered a third series of the show. Production on the season is already underway in New Zealand, and it has now been completed! Netflix has confirmed that Sweet tooth will be the last season of the show. He joins a ragtag family of hybrids and humans searching to find answers behind the event… ultimately discovering a vast conspiracy that forces him to question his very existence.

The cast of the series adaptation includes Christian Convery as Gus, Nonso Anozie as Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Singh, Will Forte as Richard, Stefania LaVie Owen as Bear, Dania Ramirez as Aimee Eden, Aliza Vellani as Rani Singh, Naledi Murray as Wendy, Amy Seimetz as Birdie, Neil Sandilands as General Abbot, and Marlon Williams as Johnny Abbot, with James Brolin as the voice of the narrator. In season 2, Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. (as Teddy Turtle) and Yonas Kirbreab (as Finn Fox) joined the cast. The series is produced in association with Warner Bros. Television by Team Downey. Team Downey’s Evan Moore is co-executive producer.Mickle provided the following statement: “In a lot of ways, it’s exactly the story that I imagined we would tell and in a lot of ways it takes on its own life. The characters tell you exactly what they want to become. The crew and cast add so much depth to the characters, their past and future. Season three is a story set in the Arctic with new adventures, and we hope that it will be a satisfying ending to this epic tale. Gus is going to see a side of the world and humanity that he didn’t see in season one or two.

Amy Seimetz’s character Birdie is being promoted to series regular status for

Sweet Tooth season 3, and so is Rosalind Chao’s character Mrs. Zhang, who was introduced at the end of season 2. Cara Gee (The Expandse
