EXCLUSIVE: First look at the new trailer for the sci-fi adventure Space Wars: Quest for the Deepstar, now on DVD and digital

Space Wars: Quest for the Deepstar, an action-packed sci-fi adventure movie from Garo Setian, director of the sci-fi thriller Automation (watch it HERE, read our review HERE), is now available on DVD and digital, and to mark the occasion a new trailer has been released that’s packed with quotes from some of the positive reviews the film has received. We have the EXCLUSIVE first look at this trailer, and you can check it out in the embed above!

Setian directed the film from a screenplay by Joe Knetter (writer of Blind and Pretty Boy), based on a story Setian and Knetter crafted together. Starring Michael Pare (Streets of Fire), Olivier Gruner (Nemesis), Sarah French (Blind), Tyler Gallant (Alpha Wolf) Rachele Brooke Smith (Nightmare Shark), Anahit Setian (Automation), Jed Rowen (Pretty Boy), Elise Muller (Dolls) and Sadie Katz (Wrong Turn 6). Space War: Quest for the Deepstar is the story of a father-daughter space scavenger team who must race to reach the legendary treasures aboard a lost mythical cargo ship. Their quest will force them to navigate a universe filled with giant monsters, aliens, robots and a mortal enemy seeking vengeance.The film recently completed a theatrical run, and while making the festival rounds it three awards at the Miami International Science Fiction Film Festival, including awards for Best Practical Effects, Best Stunts for lead actress Sarah French, and a Best Supporting Actress Award for Anahit Setian.

Space War won the Golden Marquee Award for Best Feature Film, the Outstanding Producing Award, the Gold Award for Best Sci-Fi Feature, the Hollywood Independent Filmmaker Awards, a Gold Award for Best Sci-Fi Feature, a Gold Award for Feature, a Silver Award for Directing, and a Diamond Award for Best Actor in a Sci-Fi for Michael Pare at the New York Best Actor & Director Awards. Miller also executive-produces alongside Ronnie D. Lee.The crew of the film includes: Michael Su, Anthony Pearce, Jo Anna Heckman, and ‘Evil Ted’ Smith, as well as Ben Stobber, Joanna Fang, Garo and Anahit Setian, Joe Knetter, Sarah French, and Bill Klinakis. Jeff Farley was responsible for the practical creature effects. Steve Clarke and Paul Knott handled the visual effects. Joel Christian Goffin composed the score.
