While updates on Jamie Foxx have been vague or non-existent, those close to the actor are now asking for prayers.

Jamie Foxx has finally broken his silence after his April hospitalization, posting on his Instagram that he is “feeling blessed.” While no further details were given, it’s still nice to see he is active. You can see the post below:

It has been three weeks since Jamie Foxx was rushed to the hospital following a “medical complication” and details are still unclear as to what exactly it was and what shape the actor is in, with updates few and far between. TMZ reports, however, that those close friends of the Oscar winner have asked fans to “Pray For Jamie.”
While it may seem like a dire call, a source told People in January, : “He’s OK, Thank God…He’s still at the hospital and doctors run tests, but he is awake and alert. They’re keeping him under observation.” Still, coupled with the “Pray for Jamie” comment, one wonders just what sort of update will be provided the next time we hear about Jamie Foxx. Fans may be concerned about the fact that Foxx spent three weeks in hospital despite being “awake and alert”. This happened on April 11, while Foxx was shooting his latest film,
Back In Action which also stars Cameron Diaz, who is returning to the big screen after a 10-year hiatus. Jamie Foxx’s stunt and body double was on set while Cameron Diaz returned. This was to help wrap up production. Foxx’s condition also led to him being replaced as host of the next season of Beat Shzam – the Fox game show where contestants compete against the music-identifying application.
