Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke’s crime comidey Drive-Away Dolls lands a release date from Focus Features and Working Title.
Focus Features and Working Title have settled on a release date for Ethan Coen and Tricia Cooke’s Drive-Away Dolls, a comedy caper starring Margaret Qualley (Fosse/Verdon, Sanctuary) and Geraldine Viswanathan (Miracle Workers, Rumble). Coen directs a script that he co-wrote with Tricia Cooke. Drive-Away Dolls will open in theaters on September 22, 2023.
Coen’s Drive-Away Dolls revolves around Jamie, an uninhibited free spirit bemoaning yet another breakup with a girlfriend, and her demure friend Marian who desperately needs to loosen up. The two embark on a road trip to Tallahassee in search of a new start. However, things quickly turn sour when they encounter a group of inept thieves along the way. Universal Pictures will distribute the film internationally. Robert Graf, Tim Bevan, and Eric Fellner join Coen and Cooke as producers.

She’s starred in several films and television shows since, including a 23-episode run on the TBS comedy
