Ncuti Gatwa’s Fifteenth Doctor will cross paths with Jonathan Groff (Mindhunter, Frozen) when Doctor Who returns to BBC and Disney+. Groff will be playing a “mysterious guest” role in the long-running sci fi drama. The BBC is keeping the identity of the role secret. Groff’s identity for the show is unknown, though we know he’ll “jump aboard the TARDIS,” suggesting he’ll partner with the Doctor for a timey-wimey adventure.Doctor Who showrunner Russel T Davies said,

“This is an incredible coup, and a great honour, to get such a huge star striding on to our set. Strap on your space boots because this is going to a blast! Millie Gibson plays Ruby Sunday, the Doctor’s companion, while Yasmin Finney (Heartstopper) plays Rose. Jinkx Monsoon of RuPaul’s Drag Race

also stars in a significant role.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WVwQP8r7oEU“Whilst still being in total disbelief, I am beyond honoured to be cast as the Doctor’s companion,” Millie Gibson said about joining the cast. “It’s a dream role and a gift, and I’ll do my best to fill the shoes of the other companions who have travelled before me.” Ncuti, who will be the Fifteenth Doctor said, “Millie is just the companion.” She is full with talent, strength, a cheeky spark in her eye, and is as sharp as a blade. She captured our attention from the moment she entered the room with her effervescence, and then solidified it with the sheer force of her talent. This adventure will be so wild and fun, I can’t WAIT to sail through the universe with Millie. “Doctor who showrunner Russell T Davies stated: It is my great honour to find the next-generation of talent and Millie already shines like an star. She’s brilliant and dynamic. She is also a great actor. As a Coronation Street fan, I’ve seen Millie survive chases, guns and sieges, but that’s nothing compared to what lies ahead for Ruby Sunday.”
