is already in production. This action-packed franchise doesn’t seem to be ending anytime soon. The series centered on detectives Mike Lowery & Marcus Burnett from the Miami PD produced three blockbuster movies that grossed over $840 Million as well as a television show L.A.’s Finest making it one of most successful buddy cop action-comedy in history. The latest film, Bad boys for Life was one of the final movies to hit the theaters before they were all shut down by the pandemic. It was a critical and financial success, so why would this franchise stop? Fans of the series will be happy to hear that a fourth film is coming to theaters. Bad Boys For Life had several loose ends and plot-lines left for the detectives to pursue. Adding another movie to franchise is ideally suited to resolve these issues. So, all of that said, let’s take a further look into everything we know about
Bad Boys 4.PlotWhile Smith and Lawrence confirmed that the movie is absolutely happening (and is already in production) the announcement is still relatively new and details regarding the plot haven’t been released to the public yet. . The last movie ended with Mike, Marcus, and Armando in prison, and Mike offering his son a chance to redeem himself. This plot would continue on the loose ends. Again, this is all speculation, but it would be odd for the previous movie to give such heavy leads and them completely dismiss them.
CastAgain, the fourth film was only recently announced so there aren’t a surplus of details yet. Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are certain to return as Mike Lowery, Marcus Burnett and Eric Dane from Grey’s Anatomy and Euphoria will play the villain. Actor Ioan Gruffudd (known for Fantastic 4) has also been cast in an undisclosed role and Tasha Smith has been cast to replace Theresa Randle as Marcus Burnett’s wife, but as of now those are the only confirmed cast members.Despite the cast not having a long confirmed list, just like with the plot we can speculate about who may or may not appear in the film. Since Mike and Marcus are now in charge of AMMO, it is likely that the rest of the team will return. This means Vanessa Hudgens and Charles Melton could easily appear. There’s also the possibility of Paolo Nunez returning as the newly promoted Captain Rita Secada, as well as a small but still realistic chance of Gabrielle Union and Jessica Alba making cameo appearances as Sid Burnett and Nancy McKenna from the spinoff

Fans assuredly will want to know when they can expect to see Miami’s finest detectives back on the big-screen, but unfortunately Bad Boys 4 doesn’t have an official release date yet. The film hasn’t released an official title, so we won’t see a trailer until a while. Will Smith announced the movie in an Instagram video on January 31, and confirmed at CinemaCon that the crew had already been filming for four weeks. Fans can expect a trailer to be released by the end the year since filming has already begun. It doesn’t lessen the hype, but it does make it more likely that the Bad Boys series will surpass the $1 billion mark when the fourth film is released.
