The popular Clone Wars and Rebels character manifested into live-action by the fans opens to much praise as the first two episodes preview for audiences.
The Jedi padawan of Anakin Skywalker has officially started her live-action journey. The character Ahsoka was first introduced in the pre Disney era of Star Wars, with the 2008 animated show Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Fans embraced this new character created by George Lucas and Dave Filoni. She was only really present in the spin-off series at the time. Star Wars Episode III – Revenge of the Sith did not make any official mentions or references to the character, despite the fact that it took place after the events of The Clone Wars. However, the popularity of Ahsoka in the extended universe, especially in Star Wars: Rebels, would now bring her fully into realization with the new Disney+ series, Ahsoka.Ahsoka
is premiering on the streaming platform on August 23, but many have already been previewed to the first two episodes, and the early reactions to the show have been posted to aka X. The consensus among the viewers has been that it is a faithful continuation of TwitterRebels and many praise Dave Filoni. Alex Maidy, our own Alex Maidy, reacts to :
“From the opening scene forward,
delivers a production that is the most epic #Ahsoka has ever produced since A New Hope. Dave Filoni, @starwars, and Prequel fans have created a love-letter to @rosariodawson and Prequel lovers. Top notch action. This is THE Star Wars series we have been waiting for!”#Rebels@hollywoodhandle posted:

is a great return to form for the Mando-Verse! The whole show has a Rebels vibe, and the relationships are explored well for both new viewers and old. It takes a while to get going, but it’s a winner when it does. Overall, good performances. Sets up Thrawn’s return very well. “

episodes 1 & 2 are tremendous. As expected,
steals each and every scene she is in. The villains have so much potential, they are so interesting and great. The story moves at a good pace, and the characters are interesting. Tonight. This was the first Star Wars series to have an opening crawl. Ahsoka was 100% a follow-up to Rebels. The two episode premiere felt right out of The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels but in live action.

For Better or Worse,
for Rebels fans is TFA. The most traditional SW show, but it is incredibly stiff and sluggish. Dave isn’t a very interesting director. Ray Stevenson is the star of this episode. It’s fine. #Ahsoka— Griffin Schiller (@griffschiller)
