It’s the Fourth of June! Here are some of our favorite classic summer movies to celebrate the holiday. Summer is a time for people to gather, cook out, and enjoy some fireworks. If you are young, you can’t wait for the summer to come and eat hot dogs and play baseball. If you are older, this time of year brings back fond memories of summers spent frolicking with little care. You’re looking forward to the summer fun. To pump yourself up for the summer fun let’s watch some of the best Fourth of July movies to get ready for those fireworks.

. They mention that they only played a night-time game on the Fourth Of The July because the night sky was lit up by all the fireworks. Benjamin smacks a ball into the air as the other children are dazed from the fireworks. The film is full of great summer memories, including baseball, going to the swimming pool in your community, and having fun with friends. It’s one of the best Fourth Of July films. If there’s anything you don’t like to hear at the beach, then it’s the opening notes of Jaws’ theme. This will quickly clear the water. The movie “Killer Shark” shows the most evil mayor of all time not wanting to close the beach for the Fourth Of July because they would lose money. The safety of the people is not important! Even though Adam Sandler’s films aren’t as well-known as they once were, he still finds stories that tug at your heartstrings. In
Grown-Ups, he tells an entertaining story about returning to his hometown and reconnecting over the Fourth of July weekend with his old friends. It’s got its funny jokes and some crude segments, but at its core, it’s about reconnecting with your inner child. It reminds viewers to slow down and take the time to appreciate how far they’ve come. This fun slasher begins with a group friends on the Fourth Of Independence. They are about to part ways after the summer, and want to spend one last holiday together. The group gets into a fatal accident and makes a pact not to tell anyone. They all go to college the following fall, and when they come home for the summer, they receive notes telling them that someone knows their secrets. As they are killed off one-by-one, they must figure out what happened that night and find out who is behind it. The holiday is a lot of fun for some, but there’re some that feel left behind after what they did for their country. This film tells the story of Ron Kovic, a Vietnam veteran left paralyzed while on active duty. He returns home to question what he paid in order to serve a country he feels has forgotten him. It’s a tragic view of what some veterans faced once they returned home. Tom Cruise received a lot acclaim when he played Ron Kovic. It was a surprise to many that he could pull off a story of this magnitude. One of the best parts of the holiday is reconnecting with old and new friends. In Girl’s Trip we see a group that has drifted apart decide to reconnect at the Essence Festival during Fourth Of July weekend in New Orleans. Queen Latifah stars alongside Regina Hall, Jada pinkett Smith and Tiffany Haddish in the star-studded cast. The four friends hope to rekindle friendships. A series of hilarious mishaps nearly turns the weekend into a catastrophe, but the group rallies together to keep their friendships intact. This is the perfect film to watch if you need to laugh during the holiday weekend. What can I say about a film in which Nic Cage is a treasure hunter and cryptographer? Sign me up. Oh, and also he wants to steal the Declaration Of Independence. Gold. Cage plays Benjamin Franklin Gates, who believes that there is a large stockpile hidden away of rare metals and artwork. The Knights Templar collected them, then the Founding Fathers and finally the Freemasons hid them away during the Revolutionary War. He’s obsessed but he’s not the only one searching for it. This movie is a great Fourth of July watch. This movie has the least connection to the Fourth Of July of any on this list. This doesn’t stop the movie from being a fun romp that will get you in the mood for some burgers, hot dogs and other fried foods.
