‘ icon Sean Astin having played a memorable role in season two. Matthew Modine played Martin Brenner in the show, a prominent antagonist. Paul Reiser, Robert Englund, and others have also had good parts. The Duffer Bros tease that this will be the last season of Stranger things. This is because the former child actors are all adults by the end of the show. It’s hard for me to believe that only three years have passed in the chronology of this show since the first season. Even if this is the final season of Stranger things, the franchise will continue. An animated series was officially greenlit just a few months back. It’s unlikely that the franchise, which is Netflix’s most popular property, will ever be finished.
