A TV spot reveals that the Star Wars series Ahsoka, starring Rosario Dawson, will make its Disney+ premiere in August
Disney+ has confirmed that the new Star Wars series Star Wars: Ahsoka will make its premiere on the streaming service on August 23rd! The date of the premiere is revealed in a new TV spot that can be found at the bottom this article. If you want to catch the spot on television, it’s scheduled to air sometime during the NBA Finals Game 3 tonight.
Along with the release of the TV spot comes three new images from the show, and you can also take a look at them at the bottom of this article.
Star Wars: Ahsoka is set after the fall of the Empire and follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
Rosario Dawson takes on the title role of Ahsoka and is joined in the cast by Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, Eman Esfandi as Ezra Bridger, and Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll. Dave Filoni is the writer of Star Wars: Ahsoka
. He also serves as executive producer for the series along with Karen Gilchrist is the co-executive director.The Ahsoka character was first introduced in the animated film 01 Dawson played the character in The Mandalorian
