Robert Scott Speedman, better known as Scott Speedman, is a Canadian film and television actor. He was born on September 1, 1975 in London, England, UK as Robert Scott Speedman. He is best known for playing Ben Covington in the coming-of-age drama television series Felicity and Lycan–Vampire hybrid Michael Corvin in the gothic horror–action Underworld films.
Scott turned to acting when a high school girlfriend dared him to go on Speaker’s Corner and declare his interest in playing the role of Boy Wonder in Batman Forever, which was casting in Toronto at the time. Though he didn’t get the part, the casting director put him in touch with an agent.
