Netflix has released a teaser trailer for The Witcher season 3, which will be split into two parts this summer
Yesterday, Netflix unveiled a poster for The Witcher season 3 (you can check it out at the bottom of this article, along with another poster) and indicated that a trailer for the new season might be coming along today… and sure enough, a teaser trailer for The Witcher season 3 is now online! Inspired by a series of novels written by Andrzej Sapkowski, The Witcher is an epic tale of fate and family — the story of the intertwined destinies of three individuals in the vast world of The Continent, where humans, elves, witchers, gnomes, and monsters battle to survive and thrive, and where good and evil is not easily identified.
The Witcher season 3 has the following synopsis: As monarchs, mages, and beasts of the Continent compete to capture her, Geralt takes Ciri of Cintra into hiding, determined to protect his newly-reunited family against those who threaten to destroy it. Yennefer, who has been entrusted with Ciri’s magical training, leads them to Aretuza to learn more about the girl’s untapped abilities. Instead, they find themselves in a battlefield full of political corruption, darkness magic, and treachery. They must fight back, put everything on the line — or risk losing each other forever.
Henry Cavill stars as Geralt of Rivia, with Freya Allan as Princess Cirilla of Cintra, and Anya Chalotra as Yennefer of Vengerberg. The cast also includes Joey Batey (Resident Evil: Welcome to Raccoon City), MyAnna Bing, Tom Canton (Jeremy Crawford), Mahesh J. Jadu, Terence Maynard (Lars Mikkelsen), Mimi M.
