It’s not the $15 million opening I expected based on last year’s comparable opening of Where The Crawdads sing which also was based on a loved novel. It seems that audiences are more interested in a fictional story than the real one. A few months ago, Creed 3 saw a $58.3 Million opening. Jesus Revival that target directly at that base. The story of George Foreman should be seen because he is an inspirational and legendary figure. The rest of the charts are your holdovers, such as Evil Dead Rise that looks to drop the horror film standard 60% with an expected $10 million second weekend.
