Insidious: The Red Door has become the highest-grossing film in the Insidious franchise at the worldwide box office
I haven’t seen much chatter about Insidious: The Red Door, the fifth film in the Insidious horror franchise (you can read our review HERE), but movie-goers have obviously been showing up for it. The film’s opening weekend was a huge success, bringing in $32,65 million domestically and $64 millions worldwide on an estimated budget of $16 million. Now The Numbers confirms that Insidious The Red Door is the highest-grossing movie in the franchise worldwide. It is currently sitting at $174,382,000 and has surpassed its predecessor Insidious The Last Key, which had a final count of 172,811,971. As of now,
Insidious The Red Door has a domestic number of $78,082,000. Insidious Chapter 2 holds the record for $83,586,447. But if The Red Door can manage to pull in another $5 million and change at home, it will become the record holder here as well.Insidious: The Red Door
