A teaser trailer gives the first look at the video game Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth, set between the two films
The Blade Runner franchise is continuing to expand. Annapurna Interactive released a teaser video for the video game Blade Runner 2049 while director Jeremy Podeswa is preparing to start production on the Blade Runner 2049 pilot series for Amazon Prime Video. This game is set in 2033, which puts it between the events of BladeRunner and the sequel BladeRunner 2049. This article includes a trailer.
Game Informer states that Annapurna Interactive, which has released many games in the past few years, is the first to develop this game themselves. The Blade Runner: Labyrinth looks to be the one to beat, even though Annapurna is yet to announce a release date. The only thing we know for sure is that the game takes place in a dystopian Los Angeles, just like its cinematic predecessors. Its events take place after the Blackout.
