Arnold’s FUBAR will get a second season. Netflix announced the renewal at the Tudum festival.

With Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Fubar topping the Netflix Top 10 for two weeks, it’s no surprise that the series has gotten a brisk season 2 renewal. The announcement was made during Netflix’s Tudum, which included an appearance by Arnold Schwarzenegger. The show has received mixed reviews, including from our critic, but the numbers do not lie. It’s great to see Arnold back in the spotlight, especially with the three-part documentary that the streamer released.

As a secret agent, Arnold is discovered by his daughter (played Top gun: Maverick Monica Barbaro), to be an agent. The two join forces to take down an arms dealer and bond over their love of carnage. In addition to announcing the second season, Netflix, who’ve gone all-in on Arnold, dropped a blooper reel, revealing the Austrian Oak’s impish sense of humour is still intact.

Truth be told, I only made it about a quarter of a way into the first episode of Fubar. I was excited when I received my screeners. However, I quickly became disenchanted by the “dad humor” in the show and the lackluster action. Maybe I should have set realistic expectations. I was expecting True Lies but instead I got a show that felt like any other Netflix show. People on the site say that it gets better as the season progresses, so I might give it another try one day. I still love Arnie and am happy to see him enjoying some well-deserved success. Did you like
