Netflix has released a full trailer for Sweet Tooth season 2, just ten days before the new season is set to begin streaming
A few weeks ago, the Netflix streaming service unveiled a teaser trailer for season 2 of the series Sweet Tooth, which is an adaptation of the DC Vertigo comic book that ran from 2009 to 2013 for a total of 40 issues. The full trailer for season 2 of Sweet Toy is now available online. You can watch it in the embed below! As the trailer shows, the new season is set to begin streaming on April 27th.
Created by Jeff Lemire, Sweet Tooth was a coming-of-age fable of Gus, a boy/deer hybrid who leaves home to find the world ravaged by a cataclysmic event. He joins a ragtag family of hybrids and humans searching to find answers behind the event… ultimately discovering a vast conspiracy that forces him to question his very existence.
The cast of the series adaptation includes Christian Convery as Gus, Nonso Anozie as Jepperd, Adeel Akhtar as Dr. Singh, Will Forte as Richard, Stefania LaVie Owen as Bear, Dania Ramirez as Aimee Eden, Aliza Vellani as Rani Singh, Naledi Murray as Wendy, Neil Sandilands as General Abbot, and Marlon Williams as Johnny Abbot, with James Brolin as the voice of the narrator. Christopher Sean Cooper Jr. (Circle Of Sisters Exposition), Yonas Kbreab (BloodMoon), and Susan Downey are the executive producers of the show. Jim Mickle is also the showrunner for

season 2 has the following synopsis: As a deadly new wave of the Sick bears down, Gus (Convery) and a band of fellow hybrids are held prisoner by General Abbot (Sandilands) and the Last Men. Abbot, who wants to consolidate his power by finding a remedy, uses the children to test Dr. Aditya (Akhtar)’s experiments. He is racing to save Rani (Vellani), the wife of the infected Aditya (Akhtar). Gus agrees, to protect his friends, to help Dr. Singh. This begins a dark journey that will reveal his origins, and the role of his mother Birdie (Amy Seimetz), in the events leading to The Great Crumble. Tommy Jepperd and Aimee (Ramirez) work together outside the Preserve to free the hybrids. Their partnership will be tested when Jepperd’s secret is revealed. What did you think about the Sweet tooth
