FX’s Class of ’09 trailer finds Brian Tyree Henry and Kate Mara joining an elite law enforcement program corrupted by A.I.
Law enforcement is a complicated arena. When lives are at stake, there is no room for mistakes. Yet corruption continues to seep into the foundation. Today, Disney+ unveiled FX’s Class of ’09 trailer for the limited series from Tom Rob Smith, starring Brian Tyree Henry (Eternals, Bullet Train) and Kate Mara (House of Cards, Megan Leavey).
“Class of ’09 is a suspenseful thriller limited series that follows a class of FBI agents set in three distinct points in time who acclimate and grapple with immense changes as the U.S. criminal justice system is altered by artificial intelligence,” says the show’s official description. “Spanning multiple decades and told across interweaving timelines, the series examines the nature of justice, humanity, and the choices we make that ultimately define our lives and legacy.”
Brian Tyree Henry plays Tayo, one of the most brilliant and unorthodox agents to join the bureau. Kate Mara is Poet. She was never a law enforcement officer, but now finds herself at the heart of the most important transformation. He will also star in Flint strong, which is a drama about Claressa “T-Rex” Shields, an American boxer who was from Flint, Michigan.
